Harry F. Scibilia of Revere died on Christmas Day, December 25.

He was the former husband of Helen Kennedy; loving father of Paul and David Kennedy and Gladys, Eugene and Patrick Wiswall; dear brother of Matt of Revere, John of Chelsea and the late Dorothy, Liza and Andrew Scibilia.

Samuel Aaronson

Of Quincy, formerly of Chelsea

Samuel Aaronson of Quincy, formerly of Chelsea, died on December 22. He was 73 years old.

He was the beloved son of the late Harry and Pauline Aaronson; dear brother of the late Louis Aaronson; loving first cousin of the late Judith Cooper, formerly of Medford; Ruthann Alpern of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Peabody; Daniel Lintz of Dedham; Rhoda Casey of California and Laura Breen. He is also survived by his second cousins, Rick Alpern of Beverly, Nancy Baskies of Boca Raton, FL; Jerry Alpern of Aventura, FL and Lois Kaufman of Miami, Florida.

Andrew John Hinterleitner of Revere died on December 24.

He was the loving son of Marlene Singer and her fiancé, Gary Gaudet, and Andreas Hinterleitner Jr.; dear brother of Rose Cruzaro, Donna Rizzo and her husband, Ralph, Andreas Hinterleitner III, Jacob Hinterleitner, George Hinterleitner and the late Lance Exstrom and the late Mary Danforth; devoted friend of Brenda Paris and Elaine Sickles.

Enrico Petrucci

Salem resident

Enrico Petrucci of Salem died on December 24. He was 84 years old.

He was the beloved husband of Alba (Migliaccio) Petrucci; father of Lisa Hill and her husband, Michael, of Tewksbury,  Bruce Petrucci of Colorado and the late Christopher Petrucci of Chelsea; five grandchildren, Jared, James, Theresa, Jason, and Elizabeth; his sisters-in-law, Argia Migliaccio of Salem and Angie Petrucci of Connecticut and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Peter Petrucci.

Florence Hudson

Of Revere, formerly of Chelsea

Florence (Ferullo) Hudson of Revere, formerly of Chelsea, died on December 28 following a long illness. She was 93 years old.

The wife of the late Warren E. Hudson, she was the cherished mother of Thomas K. Hudson and his wife, Annette E., and the late Warren W. Hudson and dear mother in-law of Rosemarie T. Hudson, all of Revere; devoted grandmother of Chrissy A. Hudson of Revere, Lori J. Scioli and her husband, Joseph, of Wilmington, Thomas K. Hudson Jr. and his wife, Carolyn, of Rochester NH, Keith W. Hudson and his wife, Michelle, and Carrie Hudson, all of Revere, and Andrew J. Hudson and his wife, Erin, of Danvers and is also lovingly survived by her sister Gloria Montecalvo of Malden, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mildred DiGiacomo, Joseph, Carlo, Samuel, Michael, George, Orlando, Raymond and Rodger Ferullo and best friend and companion to the late John F. Lally.

Family and friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, December 31, beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway, (Rte 107) Revere, followed by a Funeral Mass in St Anthony of Padua Church, Revere at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Serafina Antonette Famiglietti

Chelsea resident

Serafina “Sarah” Antonette (Scrivano) Famiglietti of Chelsea entered into eternal peace on Christmas Eve Day. She was 90 years old.

She is survived by her sons, Michael P. Famiglietti and his wife, Lisa, of Andover and Carl J. Famiglietti and his wife, Patricia, of Andover and her daughters, Margaret A. Morse and her husband, Robert, of Danvers and Donna M. Dolan and her children, Kristin DiBella and Katelyn Dolan of Center Conway, N.H. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael J. Famiglietti, the daughter of the late Antonio and Domenica (Tomasello) Scrivano and the sister of the late James and John Scrivano, Katherine Pyndkowski, Marcella Repucci, Jennie Karpenko and Adeline Davis.

Stacee Monkiewicz

Lynnfield Director of Recreation

Stacee L. (Tyer) Monkiewicz of Lynnfield, formerly of Newton, died December 22 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, after being stricken suddenly at her home.  She was 41 years old.

The wife of Matthew Monkiewicz of Lynnfield and the daughter of Timothy L. and Lillian (D’Agostino) Tyer of Newton, she was born in Newton in 1969, attended Newton Public Schools and graduated from Mt. Alvernia High School, class of 1987.  She received her bachelor’s degree from Bentley College, Waltham in 1992.

Mrs. Monkiewicz began her career with Star Market, rising to the rank of Front End Manager then a role in the Headquarters Buying Office.  She later pursued a career in sales at Russer Foods, A.J. Letizio and Morris Alper.  She then worked in IT staffing at Modis until taking a leave to become a full time mom to her children.

She returned to work for the Town of Lynnfield as the current Director of Recreation.  She was responsible for several town events including the Annual Tree Lighting, the “Father Daughter Dance” and the Summer Camp Program.  She was a communicant of St. Maria Goretti Church, Lynnfield and was the former PTO President at the Pre-school where she helped lead the installation of the new playground for the children.

She will be remembered by her family as a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter and sister.  She was the type of person who would do without in order to help others.  She was known throughout the community for her thoughtfulness and selflessness.  She will be deeply missed by all her knew her.

In addition to her husband of almost 13 years, Matthew, and her parents, Tim and Lillian, she is survived by her beloved children, Mason, Sydney, Madeline and Samuel; her brother Jonathan D. Tyer of Santa Rosa, California; her sister, Elizabeth “Betsy” Tyer of Newton; her mother-in-law Kathi L. (Buckless) Monkiewicz of Middleton; her father-in-law Ray F. Monkiewicz and his wife, Nancy, of Ipswich; her brother-in-law Patrick Monkiewicz and his wife, Jess, of Danvers; her sisters-in-law, Katie Smith and her husband, Juan, of Saugus and Michelle Bustin of North Reading; her grandmother-in-law Wanda “Babci” Monkiewicz of Lynnfield; three nieces, two nephews and several other family and close friends.

A Funeral Mass was held at St. Maria Goretti Church, Lynnfield.  Burial was in Newton Cemetery, Newton.  Arrangements were under the direction of the Solimine, Landergan and Richardson Funeral Home, Lynn. Harry Weinberg

Past Master of Hamett Masonic Lodge

Harry Weinberg of Malden, formerly of Chelsea and Winthrop, died on December 22. He was 95 years old.

Born in Romania and raised in Chelsea, he attended Chelsea schools and was a graduate of Chelsea High School, Class of 1935. He was a salesman in the clothing industry for 45 years and was a Past Master of the Hamett Masonic Lodge, a member of Temple Tifereth Israel, Temple Tifereth Israel Brotherhood and was also a member of the board of directors for the temple.

He was the beloved husband of the late Pauline (Schwartz) Weinberg; the devoted father of the late Carol Rosenthal and the late Marlene Shapiro; the dear brother of the late Fannie Alexander and the late Freda Schlossberg. He was the loving grandfather of Scott Rosenthal, Todd Rosenthal and his wife, Erica, and Jill Shaul and her husband, Josh. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.

Harvey S. Berger

Formerly of Chelsea

Harvey S. Berger aged 64 formerly of Chelsea died in Hollywood Ca. on Dec 21st.

He had been living at the Fine Gold Manor in Hollywood.

He was pre-deceased by his wife Marcia and is survived by his brother Martin of

Denver Co. and his Sister Debbie of Melrose MA.
