Simboli Properties Breaks Ground on New Baldor Boston Warehouse

The Simboli Properties today officially broke ground on the new Baldor Boston warehouse at 215 Williams Street in Chelsea, Mass.  The Simboli Properties, which announced the new Baldor lease in April, recently negotiated $2.7 million in new financing through Citizens Bank to complete the project.

“We are thrilled to be able to take on this project which will enhance all aspects of the Baldor business in Chelsea,” said Anthony J. Simboli, President and Founder of The Simboli Properties.  “We’re excited to be a partner of Baldor’s as it continues to grow in their new space and expand in Chelsea.”

The new facility will encompass over 26,000 square feet of high bay refrigeration and freezer space, more than tripling Baldor Boston’s previous space of 7 years on Second Street in Chelsea.”

“The Simboli Properties did an exceptional job in providing Baldor with the space it needed to accommodate its incredible growth,” added Chelsea City Manager Jay Ash. “While the new warehouse will no doubt be beneficial to Baldor, it will also enhance the development of Chelsea by driving business and adding jobs. Baldor is an integral part of Chelsea’s economic growth and we’re thrilled they decided to stay here.”
