The Chelsea Fire Department responded to a working fire
at 129 Shurtleff St. late on Tuesday afternoon. The fire
appeared to come from a kitchen on the third floor of the
triple decker. Details were scant by press time, but fire
crews appeared to knock down the flames quickly and
damage seemed to be contained. There also appeared to
be no injuries.
