Chelsea Observes Memorial Day 2014

C1The Chelsea Girl Scout Parade and Memorial Day Exercises were a fitting and well-attended tribute for the third year in a row as the local Girl Scouts have found a way to invigorate the time before the official exercises and increase local participation in the exercises. Pictured is World War II veteran Charlie Lanzillo, who served as a crew chief on the B-29 squadron out of Tinian Island, took an emotional stand during the playing of the Air Force anthem at the City’s Memorial Day exercises.
