PHONY MONEY

On April 6, a CPD officer spoke to the manager of the Chelsea Walk Pub who stated that a male had just attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at his establishment. The manager pointed to where the man was sitting in front of 439 Broadway. As officers approached to investigate the subject, he became combative and assaulted the officers. He was placed in custody. Officers seized the counterfeit bill that was on his person.

Terrence Hill, 44, of Jamaica Plain, was charged with possessing a counterfeit note, resisting arrest and two counts of assault and battery on a police officer.

STOLE CELL PHONE

On Sunday, April 8, at 9:45 a.m., a CPD officer was summoned by a victim who stated that a female took his cell phone without his permission.

The victim pointed out the suspect, who was detained by officers. Officers recovered the phone and learned that female gave a false name and placed her under arrest for larceny as well as two outstanding warrants under her true identity.

Ashley Tyler, 30, of 92 Park St., was charged with larceny from a person and two warrants.

Alicia Lavallee, 30, 150 Captains Row, Chelsea, was arrested for shoplifting.

Jose Valentin, 49, 63 Highland Ave., Malden, was arrested on a warrant.

Rigoberto Ramirez, 44, 23 Eleanor St., Chelsea, was arrested on a warrant.

Patrick Trainor, 28, 43 Dana St., Revere, was arrested on warrants.

Andre Cheek, 20, 63 Washington Ave., Chelsea, was arrested on a warrant.

Sunday, 4/8

Ashley Tyler, 30, 92 Park St., Chelsea, was arrested on warrants.
