WRONG WAY DRIVER

On Thursday, April 26, at 9:47 p.m., officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Third Street at Broadway. Witnesses reported that one vehicle was traveling on Broadway the wrong way. The car then struck a car at Third Street. After a field sobriety test was performed the operator was placed into custody and charged with OUI.

Jonathan Aleo, 28, of Tewksbury, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor and a one-way violation.

 

MARIJUANA ROBBERY

On Friday, April 27, officers were dispatched to the intersection of City Hall Avenue/Fay Square for a report of a fight between multiple parties. Upon officers’ arrival, they were approached by the victim, who stated he was robbed by two male parties that were still on scene. Officers spoke with all parties on the scene and gathered information. It appeared the fight was regarding the sale of marijuana. One subject involved was arrested for assaulting and robbery of the victim.

Henry Rosales Aguilar, 18, of 77 Library St., was charged with unarmed robbery and assault and battery.

 

CANE MUTINY

On Sunday, April 29, at 8:30 p.m., officers responded to 416 Broadway for a fight. Upon arrival, the victim stated he was struck by a cane in the face. He told officers the suspect was his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend. He said he and the new boyfriend got into an argument in front of the Chelsea Walk Pub, which resulting in the caning. Officers placed the subject under arrest without incident.

Alfredo Martinez, 57, of 769 Broadway, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (cane) and disorderly conduct.

Luis Pineda Calderon, 29, 8 Lexington St., Everett, was arrested for unlicensed operation of motor vehicle.

Steven Mejia, 27, 63 Central Ave., Chelsea, was arrested on warrants.

Anthony Sylvester, 35, 90 Ellery St., Cambridge, was arrested on a warrant.

 

Thursday, 4/26

Jonathan Aleo, 28, 626 Chandler St., Tewksbury, was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor, and one way violation.

 

Friday, 4/27

Henry Rosales Aguilar, 18, 77 Library St., Chelsea, was arrested for unarmed robbery and assault and battery.

 

Saturday, 4/28

Sandra Martinez, 48, 108 Clark Ave., Chelsea, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

 

Sunday, 4/29

Manuel Escobar, 20, 45 Addison St., Chelsea, was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer (3 counts) and on warrants.

Janetsy Diaz, 19, 71A Clark Ave., Chelsea, was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer (2 counts) and intimidation of witness.

Alfredo Martinez, 57, 769 Broadway, Chelsea, was arrested for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.
